- I'm a wife to my best friend. Mom to 4 teens. 2 of my own and 2 bonus ones I’ve had since ages 3 & 6. They came with the best friend/ husband..I've been a Breast Cancer & Hodgkin Lymphoma survivor since 1998. The up side, I've been a survivor for almost 11 yrs, the down side, I now have Fibromyalgia, and it's NO fun. I survive day by day, by the grace of God, and my family. All while trying to be the best GRITS I can be...living in Iowa
